By engaging in Mindfulness, we improve our brain and body. We react less from flight/flight centers of our brain and enhance the executive brain functions that control working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. We can become calmer, wiser, and healthier. In this session we will discuss the way the brain and body are impacted by Mindfulness and practice several techniques that can be used throughout the day to keep ourselves at our best.
