Redistricting happens once every decade and has an immense impact on Indian Country. Fair maps protect Native voters’ ability to elect candidates of their choice and to have equal representation in the United States’ democratic system. How can your community participate in the redistricting process? How can you ensure that your political power is protected? This introductory training will explain the redistricting process, how to participate, and where to find resources and help.
