Our first program of the 2019 Indian Law seminar series focuses on the American Law Institute’s Indian law restatement project.  Professor Fletcher's presentation, as one of the reporters of the project, will describe the restatement process, subjects covered in the restatement, and the areas of most contention.

Particular subject areas include suits for money damages against the US, tribal powers over nonmembers, and several areas of federal constitutional law as applied in Indian law matters.
